Linda Koehl grew up on the Edwards Plateau in Rocksprings, TX.  The daughter of a school superintendent/rancher, Linda spent many hours on horseback and with her brother and sister in sheep and goat pens.  Summers were spent in the Nueces Canyon at her grandmother’s house, playing dominos and swimming in the Nueces River.

She attended Coastal Bend College in Beeville, earning a degree in Dental Hygiene.  After working for twelve years in Texas, she moved to Switzerland to practice there.

Linda spent her thirties traveling the world and writing country music in Nashville. Finally, she settled down in Uvalde and married Dr. Charles Milton Koehl.  They have one son, Carlos, who is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

With four years under her belt as a real estate agent, Linda obtained her broker’s license and started her own company, Riata Realty. She renovated a 4,000-square-foot historical building in downtown Uvalde and furnished it with her favorite antiques and artwork accumulated over her decades of travel and exploration.

She shares the office with her associates and other businesses.

Linda sells all kinds of real estate, and she’s more likely to be found out and about, looking for listings or buyers, than at her desk.  In her spare time, she’s busy with her theater group, The Uvalde Good Eggs, or picking and grinning with other singer/songwriter friends somewhere!  People are Linda’s passion, and she’s always ready to go the extra mile (literally and figuratively) to match properties with the people looking for them.
